We have all heard about a capsule closet but have you heard about a capsule bar. Just a few wine and spirit bottles to pair with all your dishes and to meet your guests' cocktail preference. So if you’re hosting a soirée here are a few things you need to meet all your guests’ desires.
Wines to have
Sparkling wine or high acidity white wine that can pair with lighter dishes but also has the fresh acidity to stand up to some more heartier dishes

Nothing says Spring and Summer like Rosé. Rosé wine and sunshine go hand-in-hand. It also pairs well with seafood or Veggie skewers on the barbecue
Then of course a Red wine is a medium to full bodied wine that goes well with everything coming from the barbecue

There are two ways to create a capsule bar using the 5 bottle bar or getting the ingredients of your favoruite cocktail.
5 bottles all you need to make over 10 cocktails. Or for a a true minimalist capsule approach is to just pick one cocktail that you love and get the ingredients you need for this cocktail. Once you have those ingredients. Then you can start to expand with modifiers. Modifiers are ingredients like vermouths and ingredient in your kitchen link mint that just by adding one of these you can change the taste of a cocktail
5 bottle bar
You will need:
Gin or vodka
Rye or Whiskey
Sweet Vermouth
Campari and
Angostura Bitters
These ingredients will allow you to make over 10 cocktails including Negroni, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Sweet Martini, Gin-Campari sour, Gin Gimlet, Negroni Sbagliato, Americano, Boulevardier, Reverse Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour

START WITH YOUR FAVOURITE COCKTAIL
Here is an example of how to do it my favorite cocktail is French 75. All you need is Gin, simple syrup, lemon juice and sparkling wine. I punched in these ingredients in google and find other cocktails that uses same/similar ingredients! And with these ingredients by adding or subtracting one thing you can make over 8 cocktails French 75, bees knees, Gin and tonic, gimlet, gin rickey, Tom collins, gin mint spritzer
RECIPES
Gin or Vodka Cocktails
Negroni
Ingredients:
1 oz Gin
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 oz Campari
Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel (optional).
Vodka Martini (with a twist)
Ingredients:
2 oz Vodka
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions: Pour vodka and bitters into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon peel (optional).
Rye or Whiskey Cocktails
Manhattan
Ingredients:
2 oz Rye or Whiskey
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a cherry or orange peel (optional).
Boulevardier
Ingredients:
1 oz Rye or Whiskey
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 oz Campari
Instructions: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange peel (optional).
Gin or Vodka + Campari Cocktails
Americano (with Gin variant)
Ingredients:
1 oz Gin or Vodka
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 oz Campari
Soda water (optional, to top)
Instructions: Build in a highball glass over ice. Add gin, vermouth, and Campari, then top with soda water if desired. Stir gently and garnish with an orange peel (optional).
All-Ingredients Combos
Old Pal
Ingredients:
1 oz Rye or Whiskey
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist (optional).
Gin Campari Sour (simple variation)
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Gin
1 oz Campari
0.5 oz Simple Syrup (optional)
0.5 oz Lemon Juice (optional)
Instructions: Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist (optional).
Modifier Quantities (Optional):
Orange peel or Lemon peel: 1 small twist or slice per drink for garnish.
Cherry: 1 for garnish (in the Manhattan).
Simple syrup: 0.5 oz for sours (if available).
Lemon juice: 0.5 oz for sours (if available).
Soda water: Top up to 2-3 oz for spritz-style drinks.
